Take control of your shipping costs
The Hidden Complexity of Shipping Costs
How well do you know your shipping costs? For most companies, the answer is: not as well as they think. Surcharges, multiple carriers, packaging decisions — the complexity adds up fast.
On Thursday 21 May, Wuunder co-founder Jeroen Gehlen takes you through what’s really driving your bill, and what you can do about it, in 40 minutes. Join the live webinar ‘The Hidden Complexity of Shipping Costs’ and register today.
Smarter checkout, smaller warehouse crew, smaller delivery fleet
Combined research with the University of Groningen shows that when a quarter of consumers are willing to wait a few extra days for their parcel, the national delivery fleet can shrink by over 20%, reducing CO₂ emissions by 7.5% in the process. With the Wuunder checkout, 88% of customers are willing to wait.
Shipping costs rising: what does your checkout look like?
Fuel surcharges keep climbing. A toll component lands in the Netherlands on 1 July 2026, and further surcharge increases for larger shipments are expected from January 2027. These aren’t just carrier problems — they flow directly into the rates you negotiate and the prices your customers see at checkout.
Our latest Parcel Radar edition breaks down the numbers and what they mean for your margins.
Jeroen Gehlen on BNR Zakendoen
On 1 May, Wuunder co-founder Jeroen Gehlen joined BNR Zakendoen live. The conversation centred on how smarter delivery benefits the entire chain. Sustainable delivery options don’t start at the back of the logistics chain, they start in the checkout. Give consumers the right choices there, and everyone wins: carriers operate more efficiently, warehouses face less peak pressure, and retailers strengthen their brand.
Wuunder in the Emerce 100!
For the first time, Wuunder has been included in the Emerce 100, in the Shipping Software category. The Emerce 100 is a peer review: an assessment by industry professionals of the companies they actually work with. That makes this recognition especially meaningful.
Additional filter options
You can now filter on location type for UPS and Mondial Relay, for example to show only lockers or only other pickup locations.

Additional carrier support
We’ve added support for DB Schenker, one of Europe’s largest logistics networks. Create shipments and labels directly through Wuunder, with broad international road transport coverage, including pallet shipments.
Support for Overnight Parcel Courier is now available too, with streamlined label generation integrated into your existing Wuunder shipping flows.
