CHASIN' is a jeans brand that offers a 24/7 omnichannel customer experience inspired by an active urban lifestyle. The company's products consist of the most popular jeans styles, combined with urban and sportswear influences that are defined by CHASIN's DNA. Highlights within the brand's current collections include EGO performance jeans and weatherproof performance jackets.

CHASIN' has already expanded beyond its home market of the Netherlands and now offers its iconic jeans to customers in other European countries. However, further international expansion brings challenges. The brand must manage different carriers while offering customers delivery options they recognise. These options must also meet consumer needs, such as evening delivery, next-day delivery and click & collect.

The challenge

Managing different carriers, delivery options and payment methods is difficult enough when brands fulfil orders for domestic customers. But when companies also have to deal with international borders, regulations and varying customer requirements, the complexity can quickly spiral out of control. That's why CHASIN needed a multi-carrier platform that could offer different delivery options and was scalable enough to accommodate future growth.

The solution

Wuunder Checkout helped facilitate the brand's international growth by supporting the use of international carriers that fit the company's multi-carrier strategy, while making delivery options more flexible for consumers. Wuunder's existing Magento 2 extension also provided cost savings and stability during the IT integration process when connecting the Wuunder Checkout Widget to CHASIN's existing webshop. The fact that CHASIN's webshop was already running on the Magento 2 e-commerce platform made the transition to Wuunder extremely easy.

Wuunder also supports CHASIN in printing all carrier labels (and return labels) and provides valuable assistance with the brand's Click & Collect offering. CHASIN is a true omnichannel brand that provides a consistent customer experience across all touchpoints. Together with Wuunder, CHASIN can offer different delivery options, timely delivery and an overall improved customer experience. From payment to last-mile delivery, they can look forward to further growth without worrying that the checkout and delivery experience will hold them back. CHASIN is already available in 19 different European countries, but has its sights set on further expansion – and is even looking further afield.

The brand was founded in 1992 and opened its first physical store in 2003. It quickly developed a strong market position in its home market of the Netherlands. International expansion followed soon after when they opened a store in Germany. Today, the company operates from Amsterdam, with a large hub close to the German border (in Duiven).

With a view to long-term international success, CHASIN' has created a strong brand identity around its distinctive back pockets, logo and three-piece design. The company's brand values can be summarised in three words: jeans, city and performance.
