Print API integration: print-on-demand from your webshop
Sell books, posters, canvases, mugs or tiles in your own webshop without keeping a single item in stock. Your order lands in Wuunder, we add everything the print shop needs, and Print API prints and ships the product.
The shipping details then flow back into MyWuunder automatically, so you can track every shipment. No emailing files, no retyping orders into a second system.
How the integration works
Every order follows the same five steps from purchase to doorstep, without any manual work on your side.
Step 1: Your customer orders. A customer buys a product from the Print API range in your webshop.
Step 2: The order arrives in Wuunder. It's imported into MyWuunder automatically, just like your other orders.
Step 3: Wuunder adds the print data. For each order line, Wuunder adds what's needed to produce the item. For a book, that's the cover type, the paper and the content of every page.
Step 4: Print API prints and ships. Wuunder sends the complete job to Print API, who print the product and attach a shipping label.
Step 5: Track it in MyWuunder. The label details come back to MyWuunder, including the carrier's tracking code.
The data Wuunder sends along
A print shop can only print what it knows exactly. So for every product, Wuunder sends more than an address: it passes on the full print instructions.
| Element | What Wuunder sends | Where it comes from |
|---|---|---|
| Product | The right Print API product, such as a poster or photo print in a set size | Your article data in Wuunder |
| Design | The print file (PDF) for each article | Your article data in Wuunder |
| Books | Cover and inner pages as separate files, plus the page count | Your article data in Wuunder |
| Quantity | The number of items per order line | The order from your webshop |
| Delivery address | Your customer's name and address | The order from your webshop |
| Tracking | Carrier and tracking code, returned after printing | Print API |
What you can sell through Print API
The range comes straight from Print API. A selection of what they print:

No stock, no packing station
With print-on-demand, a product only exists once someone has ordered it. That saves you stock, storage and leftovers.
You sell
You decide on the designs, the prices and the webshop. New designs are added as articles, print file included.
Print API produces and ships
The print shop prints, packs and ships the product. According to Print API, your customer receives it in neutral packaging, without the print shop's name.
Track every shipment in MyWuunder
As soon as Print API has created the shipping label, the shipment appears in MyWuunder with its carrier and tracking code. Customer asking where their order is? You see it in one overview, next to all your other shipments.
Shipping regular parcels or pallets as well? Book them in the same account with your own carriers.
Who is the Print API integration for?
For webshops, brands and creators selling personalised or self-designed products who want to outsource printing and shipping, without running a print shop or warehouse themselves.

Q: What does the Print API integration do?
A: Wuunder imports your webshop order, adds the print data for each product and sends the job to Print API. They print and ship it, and tracking flows back into MyWuunder.
Q: What print data does Print API need for a book?
A: Among other things, the cover type, paper, page count and the content of every page. Wuunder sends the cover and inner pages as separate files, based on your article data.
Q: Can I track my shipments?
A: Yes. Once Print API has created the label, the carrier and tracking code show up on the shipment in MyWuunder, alongside your other carriers.
Q: Do I need to keep stock?
A: No. Print API only produces the item after it's ordered, so you need no stock or packing station. Want to talk through your setup? Contact our team.
Q: Which webshop platforms connect to Wuunder?
A: Wuunder connects with platforms such as WooCommerce, Shopware, Magento, Shopify and Lightspeed. Running your own system? Use the API.
Q: Who helps if a print order doesn't go through?
A: Our support team. Usually a detail is missing from the article, such as the print file or a valid EAN. Get in touch and we'll look into it with you.
