Returning shipments to a parcelshop

Print the return label yourself

Your customer receives the return label via email. They simply print the label, attach it to the parcel, and drop it off at the carrier's service point.

The return label is sent by post

If your customer doesn't have access to a printer, some retailers send the return label by post. Your customer sticks the label on the parcel and brings it to the parcelshop themselves.

Return without a label

If your customer doesn't have a printer at home, DHL Parcel offers the option 'No printer at home'. Your customer simply drops off the parcel at a shop with a DHL ServicePoint and has the QR code on their phone scanned.

Return shipment collected from your customer's home

Print the return label yourself

All your customer needs to do is print the return label received via email and hand the shipment to the driver. The pickup time is agreed upon with the recipient.

The carrier prints the return label

Some retailers make returning shipments very easy. The carrier prints the return label and collects the shipments directly from the customer's home.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about return shipments

Q: What return methods can I offer my customers through Wuunder?

A: You can choose from multiple options: customers dropping off at a parcelshop (with a printed label, mailed label, or QR code), or home collection by the carrier. You decide which methods to offer per return flow.

Q: Can I automatically include return labels with the outbound shipment?

A: Yes, you can include a return label in the packaging. Additionally, you can make labels available afterwards via email or through a return portal. This reduces the likelihood of a return.

Q: How do I keep track of all incoming returns?

A: With Wuunder you have real-time visibility into the status of every return shipment. You can see when a return has been registered, is in transit, and arrives at your warehouse. This allows you to process your inventory and refunds faster. Through the track & trace information you can integrate this data into your WMS, ERP, or eCommerce system.

Q: Can I charge return costs to my customers?

A: Yes, that's entirely up to you and your return policy. You can offer free returns, charge a fixed fee, or make costs dependent on the return reason or destination country.

Q: Which carriers do Wuunder's return solutions work with?

A: Wuunder works with all major carriers in the Netherlands and Europe, including DHL, PostNL, DPD, UPS, and more. Different return methods are available per carrier (parcelshop, collection service, QR code).

Q: Can I set up my own return portal in my brand style?

A: Yes. With Wuunder Returns you offer customers a branded return portal where they can register their return, provide the reason, and choose a return method. Fully in your own brand style.
