How can I return a shipment?

How returning a shipment works exactly depends on the choices the sender has made. There are various options that the sender can offer:

Return shipments via a parcelshop

 

Print the return label 

You receive the return label via email. All you have to do is print the return label, stick it on the order, and drop it off at the carrier's service point.

The return label is sent by mail

If you don't have a printer, for some senders we'll send the return label by post. You stick this label on the shipment and drop it off at the parcel shop.

Return without a label

If you don't have a printer at home, with DHL Parcel you can choose the option 'No printer at home'. You simply drop off your package at a DHL ServicePoint and have the QR code on your mobile scanned. The service point scans the code and accepts the package, making the entire process automated.

Return shipment is picked up at home

Print the return label 

All your customer has to do is print the return label you received by email and give the shipment to the driver. You arrange the moment the shipment is picked up with the sender or with us.

The carrier prints the return label

Some senders make returning very easy. The carrier prints the return label and picks up the shipments directly from the customer's home. For DHL, there is a surcharge of €1.75 for this service. The pickup will always take place on the next working day between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM.
