Ship letters, parcels and pallets to the Nordics
86% of Nordic consumers shop online monthly and 71% buy from a foreign webshop at least once a year (PostNord E-commerce in the Nordics, 2026).
The Nordics are one of the most digitally mature markets in the world: high purchasing power, strong preference for flexible delivery and local payment methods like Swish (SE), Vipps (NO) and MobilePay (DK). But each country has its own preferences: in Sweden home delivery dominates, in Denmark and Norway it's the service point, and in Finland the parcel locker.
Why a multi-carrier platform for the Nordics
The Nordics may look like one market, but every border changes the rules. PostNord service points in Sweden, Bring Post i Butikk in Norway, parcel lockers in Finland: your customer expects the local delivery experience, not a generic European offering. PostNord research (2026) shows that the ability to choose a pickup location is the single most important factor when Nordic consumers decide where to shop.
PostNord covers Sweden and Denmark with 19,500+ service points and parcel lockers. Bring (Norway Post) reaches every address in Norway, including fjords and islands that other carriers don't serve. DPD adds Predict: the recipient gets a 1-hour delivery window on the day of delivery and can reschedule themselves.
With Wuunder you configure a different carrier mix per Nordic country without separate systems. The platform automatically compares which combination of price, transit time and delivery location fits best per parcel. GreenChoice is especially relevant here: 8 out of 10 Nordic consumers factor sustainability into their purchase decision.

Shipping from and within the Nordics
Scandinavian retailers and brands shipping domestically or to Europe also use Wuunder. In Sweden, PostNord is market leader with home delivery (Mon-Sat) and 5,700+ parcel lockers and service points; Instabee (Budbee + Instabox) adds 4,500+ lockers and evening delivery.
In Norway, Bring (Norway Post) dominates with Post i Butikk pickup points and coverage reaching fjords and islands that other carriers don't serve. Danish webshops combine PostNord next-day (Mon-Sat) with GLS Denmark for B2B. In Finland, parcel lockers dominate: PostNord delivers up to 20 kg to lockers (more generous than 10 kg in other Nordics).
For international express from all four countries, activate DPD, DHL Express, UPS, FedEx or TNT. Labels, tracking and returns from a single platform.

Pickup points and parcel lockers
Offering pickup points is the single most important factor for Nordic consumers when choosing a webshop (PostNord, 2026).
- PostNord: 19,500+ service points and parcel lockers across SE, DK, NO and FI
- Bring: Post i Butikk network across Norway
- Budbee Box: 3,000+ parcel lockers in SE, DK and FI
- DPD Pickup: pickup points in SE, DK and FI

Customs and VAT
Sweden, Denmark and Finland (EU members)
No customs formalities for shipments from the Netherlands or Belgium. Goods move freely within the EU. Note: Sweden and Denmark use their own currency (SEK/DKK), Finland uses the euro.
Norway (non-EU)
Norway is not an EU member. All shipments require a customs declaration.
- VOEC scheme: for B2C shipments up to NOK 3,000 you can register with the VOEC scheme. You charge 25% Norwegian VAT (MVA) at checkout and the shipment clears the border without additional customs handling.
- VOEC registration is mandatory when your annual B2C revenue to Norwegian consumers exceeds NOK 50,000.
- Shipments above NOK 3,000 fall outside VOEC and require standard customs clearance via a customs agent.
- Excluded from VOEC: foodstuffs, alcohol, tobacco and excise goods.
