Automate your GLS Belgium shipping process

Ship with GLS Belgium

GLS Belgium runs its own network of 12 depots, 2 of which serve as hubs, and typically delivers domestic parcels within 24 hours. With FlexDeliveryService, your customer picks another day, another address or a GLS Parcel Shop before the first delivery attempt.

With Wuunder, you book GLS Belgium shipments from MyWuunder or via the API. Wuunder Ship compares them automatically with your other carriers, with no shipping rules needed.

Use your own GLS Belgium contract

GLS Belgium runs on your own contract: an agreement you sign directly with GLS Belgium, at your own rates. Already have one? Contact our team and we connect it to your MyWuunder account. After that, you see your GLS Belgium rates next to other carriers.

In Belgium, GLS is often paired with Bpost for its dense Pakjespunt network or DPD Belgium for Saturday delivery. Also shipping from the Netherlands or Germany? Wuunder also connects GLS Netherlands and GLS Germany, each on its own contract. Read more about the Belgian parcel market on shipping to Belgium.

Pickup without hassle

FlexDeliveryService: your customer decides

As soon as your label is ready, GLS emails your customer with the planned delivery and an approximate time window. From that email, the recipient chooses online:

  • Delivery on another day
  • Delivery to another address
  • Delivery to a GLS Parcel Shop
  • Collection at a GLS depot
  • Delivery to a specific spot, even when nobody is home
  • Refusal (returned to sender)

That means fewer failed delivery attempts. With Wuunder Track, every change shows up in your own overview.

Pickup without hassle

  • Ad-hoc pickup: Wuunder books the pickup with GLS Belgium as soon as you create a label.
  • Scheduled pickup: GLS Belgium collects daily or weekly at your business address.

Pickup is available throughout Belgium.

Well-prepared without extra delivery time

GLS Belgium works with girth: 2 x height + 2 x width + longest side. Max 31,5 kg.

Watch out for non-sortable shipments: bags, tyres, rolls, buckets, wooden boxes and parcels with protruding parts cannot run on the conveyor. GLS sorts them by hand and charges a surcharge. Use PuzzlPack to pick the right box upfront, and read our packaging guidelines.

Create extra security in your delivery process

GLS Belgium is liable for loss or damage while the parcel is in its possession. Without separate transport insurance, GLS compensates up to €750 per parcel, based on the purchase price.

GLS does not accept parcels with contents worth over €5,000, or goods such as real jewellery, precious metals or art. Shipping higher-value products such as electronics? Choose an express carrier in Wuunder that accepts higher values, and add extra insurance per shipment.
